Donation to The Dana & Melissa Home for Girls
For more than a decade, Arnold & Itkin has been representing severely injured individuals and their families. Through these difficult times, our clients have proven that sometimes good things can come from even the most devastating of circumstances.
After tragically losing both of her daughters in a trucking accident, our client came to Arnold & Itkin looking for help. We were able to win a substantial settlement on behalf of this mourning mother and let her know that the company would not escape responsibility for causing her daughters’ deaths.
Before their passing, our client and her daughters had worked for over 30 years with Elim International. One particular thing they were passionate about was a safe home being built for young girls in India who have been sold into sex slavery. Many girls in India are sold into sex slavery at a young age.
Our client used a substantial portion of her settlement funds to ensure that the safe home for girls who escaped was constructed. The home will forever be known as the Dana and Melissa Home for Girls—in memory of her daughters.
After hearing this news, Arnold & Itkin felt inspired to get involved too. Recently, our firm made a substantial, large donation to The Dana and Melissa Home for Girls. We are proud to play a small role in helping these young girls and honoring Dana and Melissa. Our client’s dedication to the memory of her daughters and betterment of the lives of others is proof that good things can come from the most devastating of circumstances.
